Kristy graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario in 2010. She worked in Burlington for 3 years before joining the team at Black Creek Animal Hospital in Acton. It was through her work in general practice that Kristy became aware of the need for adjunct and alternative approaches to injured, senior and overweight patients. In order to provide a comprehensive care plan to her own patients and facilitate other veterinarians to do the same, she elected to pursue certification in animal rehabilitation.
Kristy achieved her certification in canine rehabilitation at the University of Tennessee in 2017. Following this, Kristy and Deb were able to establish Blue Springs Animal Rehabilitation Center in order to realize their goal of creating a referral-based, patient-centered, and customized approach to better living and mobility through all life stages.
Debbie graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2005. Soon after graduation she moved to Acton to begin her career and gained years of valuable experience. She loved living in Acton so much that she decided to stay locally to start a new clinic of her own.
Debbie has always strived to provide her patients and their families with the most comprehensive and current therapies to promote their health and wellness. It was this dedication that sparked her interest in rehabilitation and physical wellness.
Debbie shares her love for animals with her husband and three children. They all share their home with their kitty Cole and their dogs, BB and Tiberius. Outside of work she enjoys camping with her family, gardening and long strolls with her dogs.
