Kristy graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario in 2010. She worked in Burlington for 3 years before joining the team at Black Creek Animal Hospital in Acton. It was through her work in general practice that Kristy became aware of the need for adjunct and alternative approaches to injured, senior and overweight patients. In order to provide a comprehensive care plan to her own patients and facilitate other veterinarians to do the same, she elected to pursue certification in animal rehabilitation.
Kristy achieved her certification in canine rehabilitation at the University of Tennessee in 2017. Following this, Kristy and Deb were able to establish Blue Springs Animal Rehabilitation Center in order to realize their goal of creating a referral-based, patient-centered, and customized approach to better living and mobility through all life stages.
Debbie graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2005. Soon after graduation she moved to Acton to begin her career and gained years of valuable experience. She loved living in Acton so much that she decided to stay locally to start a new clinic of her own.
Debbie has always strived to provide her patients and their families with the most comprehensive and current therapies to promote their health and wellness. It was this dedication that sparked her interest in rehabilitation and physical wellness.
Debbie shares her love for animals with her husband and three children. They all share their home with their kitty Cole and their dogs, BB and Tiberius. Outside of work she enjoys camping with her family, gardening and long strolls with her dogs.
Daniella graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca college in 2020. She has been working in general practice since her graduation. Daniella is currently working to become a fully licensed CCAT.
Daniella has always had a special interest in behavioral cases. She pursued further education in this area and graduated from Karen Pryor Academy in 2021 as a certified dog trainer. She is also an Elite Certified Fear Free professional, a skill that she is able to implement with our patients every day.
Daniella and her fiancé are fur parents to 2 dogs, 3 kitties, and 1 bunny.
Dayna started at Blue Springs in August 2022. Dayna has always had a special place in her heart for animals, as well as a passion for kinesiology. Upon discovering she combine her interests, she jumped at the chance and joined our team.
As an athlete herself, Dayna wanted to explore improving/prolonging our furry athletes care and welfare. After many years working with animals and a few years of experience working as an Animal Care Assistant at a emergency animal hospital, patient care is her specialty.
She is eager to learn all that she can and has plans to move forward with her education in animal rehabilitation in order to continue to improve the lives of your furry family members.
Selah began at BSARC in 2024, following her graduation from the University of Guelph where she majored in Bio-Resource Management. She particularly enjoys her days working as part of the surgery team and making sure your pets are recovering comfortably from their procedures.
On her weekends off, she can be found visiting her family’s hobby farm and spending some quality time with the six chickens, three dogs, and her two draft horses.
Bronwyn joined the team at Blue Springs in August 2022. With years of customer service experience and a love for animals, she was a perfect fit. Bronwyn enjoys not just helping our amazing patients but our fantastic clients too.
As the first face you see when you arrive and the first voice you hear when you call us, she makes sure that she does her best to educate, greet and make our clients feels at ease during their time with us.
Bronwyn shares her home with her personal "zoo", including 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a rabbit. Bronwyn's fur babies inspire her to provide the best care possible to every patient as if they were her own.
Terra joined the team at Blue Springs in May 2021. With previous experience in customer service and love for all animals, she was a perfect addition. Having 2 dogs, a cat and 2 rats at home motivates Terra to provide the best care she can to every furry-guest we have stay with us. She excels at providing a smooth and positive experience for our fabulous clients, from scheduling the first rehab appointment or boarding stay to graduation.
