We strive to provide a fun, low stress environment for our dogs to learn in. We believe training should be enjoyable for both dog and human through reward based training methods.
Please note that any dog who shows aggressive behavior towards people or other dogs are not permitted in class. Please contact us if you are not sure whether your dog would be a good fit.

Here at Blue Springs Animal Rehab Center, we are committed to providing safe and fun socialization experiences. It is recommended that puppies have safe socialization experiences prior to finishing their vaccines however most people find this hard to plan on their own. Let us do the planning for you so you and your puppy can come and experience the benefits of socialization. Early socialization has been linked to preventing behavior problems such as fearfulness and aggression. For more information about the benefits of early socialization please see the position statement by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior.

It is important that our pets feel comfortable during vet visits and for basic husbandry and grooming care. Fear free visits are personalized one on one visits to change any underlying feelings that may come with handling and veterinary care. You will work with our certified trainer to come up with a plan that helps you and your pet get closer to your goals.
We will work at your pet's speed to change their feelings and teach them to opt into treatment by using fun and easy reward based training techniques. Some of the goals may include, but are not limited to, things such as nail trims, administering medications or ear cleanings, muzzle training and more.
"We are eternally thankful for Daniella and her animal care expertise! Not only did we learn practical skills, like how to cooperatively trim our dog Louie’s nails, clean his ears, and how to handle him for vet visits, but working with her helped us build a strong, communicative relationship with him. Daniella brings an extensive knowledge built on her unique experiences that makes her a valuable person and resource."
